Flash News is a mobile application and a service that enables publishers, newspapers, magazines and other news media outlets to deliver content in rich media formats.
The user experience is straightforward, allowing the user to navigate from headlines, browsing through themed sections, to viewing selected stories and their details.
News stories can be complemented with screen-wide resolution images and video.
Slideshow photos and ads
Flash News allows you to show several photos from highlighted news in a rotating slideshow form, within a screen-wide display.
Items in the slideshow can also be promotional images and links to products and services. Users can interact with the advertisement and request additional information via SMS, phone call and Email
You can also place ads to be displayed when the user exits.
By enabling selected ads to appear in different parts of your application, you can bundle the effect and presence of your advertised product/service within the user's session at different times and places, rallying for a consistent awareness of your campaign with your audience.
Plugin to existing media sources
As a service Flash News, was planned to integrate with external sources for news such as Web services and RSS, providing standard means to plug into existing content suppliers and networked assets.

Install or run
Flash News can be executed directly from the mobile phone's browser, without installation on the device. Otherwise and optionally, it can be installed as a Symbian application.
