ROLE DESCRIPTION - KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Create and maintain Android applications from the requirements to the Google Play Store
- Follow the best mobile and Java/Kotlin practices to create clean, documented and reusable code
- Develop network sensitive applications integrated with security and different authentication providers
- Work closely with the design team to deliver the best UX
- Participate in code reviews and implement tests to ensure high-quality software
- Commitment to complete projects on time
- Help the team evolve, sharing and experimenting new ideas and technologies
MAIN REQUIREMENTS:
- At least 3 years of experience in Android development
- Solid knowledge of the Android SDK, working with Java or Kotlin
- Good knowledge of Android design patterns and software architecture principles (MVP/MVVM)
- Solid understanding of engineering principles and fundamentals of the different stages of mobile development, including automated testing, build processes and deployment
- Creating testable code and make testing a priority
- Knowledge of industry best practices
- Prior experience with Git source control system and tools such as GitHub or GitLab
- Agile methodologies such as SCRUM or Kanban
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Proficiency in English
NICE TO HAVE:
- Understanding of Flutter framework development, being comfortable with Dart language
- Experience with iOS (Swift/Objective-C)
- Expertise with RESTful APIs to connect to back-end services
- Versatile with 3rd party libraries
- Having published apps in Google Play
- Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g. Jenkins)
